Michèle has several decades of international human capital consulting experience including executive coaching, leadership development, talent management and assessment, team building, facilitation, onboarding, and start up advisory. She has worked with a wide range of organizations in size and industry, VC startups and PE backed organizations to the Fortune 50, both in the private and public sector as well as with global executive education institutions.
Michèle has worked and lived in 4 countries and coached leaders from more than 80 nationalities. She has partnered with senior leaders at AstraZeneca, Axis Communications, Cambridge Systematics, Citi, Danone, Google, Ikea, Klarna, Ocean Conservancy, Platform24, Spotify, Takeda, Teradata, The Termeer Foundation, and Volvo. Working with executive and leadership teams to be high functioning, effective and innovative is one of Michèle’s signature strengths and passions. She is a dynamic and engaged facilitator and coach that enjoys working closely with clients to build trust, improve communication and collaboration, define strategies and goals, increase engagement, and reach results.
Michèle is committed to helping clients reach a positive outcome through a pragmatic and structured approach that drives insights and supports them to make changes, take action, and create lasting impact. Michèle has worked with several management teams in corporate as well as startup environments as they address strategic issues, tackling new markets, driving innovation, facing rapid growth, and scaling efforts.
She holds a PCC designation from the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and did her initial coach training with the NeuroLeadership Institute. She is certified and uses a variety of assessments including the Predictive Index, MBTI Step II, Hogan, StrengthsFinder and TKI to enhance self-awareness and build leadership capacity. She’s worked with a variety of 360-degree feedback assessments and is certified with the Leadership Versatility Index.
Having designed leadership development programs in both academic and corporate environments Michèle brings a keen understanding of adult learning needs. While living in Switzerland, Michèle joined IMD as an executive coach for their Global MBA program and created business cases and content for Executive Education courses. She has consulted to Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Singapore Management University and HEC Paris. While living in Sweden, she joined Stockholm School of Economics, where she continues to work as a Senior Coach and Faculty Member for their Executive MBA LeadershipLive Program, a program she co-created in 2014.
She currently works with the Blavatnik Fellowship in Life Sciences at Harvard Business School providing leadership development and executive coaching to global entrepreneurs and first time CEO’s and at MIT’s Sloan School of Management as a Master Executive Leadership & Team Coach in their Executive MBA and Exec Ed programs and serves as a mentor and judge for MIT’s $100K Entrepreneurship program.
Early in her career, Michèle was an executive search consultant with Korn Ferry International in San Francisco where she conducted C-suite searches for the Venture Capital, Advanced Technology and Professional Services practices. She has worked for two start-ups in fintech and enterprise software and then went on to serve as Senior Advisor on Human Capital to the Assistant Secretary/Chief Financial Officer at the U.S. Department of State under Secretary Colin Powell.
Michèle completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of California, Santa Cruz. She enjoys spending time with her family, running marathons, visiting art museums, hiking, doing yoga and angel investing. Michèle is first generation American as well as a French and UK national.
